My tutoring fee covers planning, resources and travel time for the session. I also include a half termly progress update via email or in person.
My fee's are as follows:
£38 per hour session per child
£25 per half an hour session per child
I do also offer group sessions and prices for these will be offered on a case by case basis.
I invoice my clients each month on the 23rd of the month with payment due by the 1st of the following month. I will send the invoice via email.
My tutoring sessions typically last one hour, however I can accommodate longer and shorter sessions if necessary. I also recommend if your child is younger or finds concentrating for longer periods more challenging, my half an hour sessions might be more appropriate.
I cover all areas of the primary curriculum including, but not limited to, phonics and early reading, fluency and reading comprehension, maths, writing, science, art, music, history and geography. I also work with children on developing skills of resilience, emotional regulation, confidence and social skills.
I work with children across the primary age phase from 4-12. I am also able to work with children starting secondary school working at a primary level.
Throughout my teaching career I have worked with children with a diverse range of needs from ADD and autism to dyslexia and global development delay. I take a person centred approach to learning working with my understanding of the individual rather than any preconceptions surrounding diagnosis.
I ask all new families to sign an agreement when they start working with me. You can read this agreement here: (File coming soon).
I am aware that life happens (as a new parent believe me I know!) and will always aim to accommodate last minute changes in schedule for example illness. To be fair to everyone I ask that these changes be communicated to me with as much notice as possible. If the session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice I do reserve the right to retain payment for that session.
I have a range of options for where a tutoring session can happen. Typically I come into your house to run the session as this is an environment where your child feels most comfortable. However, if this doesn't work for you, I also offer sessions at my home office and online.
Have a question or need more information about my tutoring services? Feel free to reach out! I'm here to help you and your child succeed and make learning an enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for extra support to build your child's confidence, need help with a specific subject or want to develop your understanding of the school curriculum and school life as a parent, I’d love to hear from you. Let's connect and get started!
